Why haven’t I received my transfer yet?

Delivering your funds on time is a top priority for TANGGapp, but delays may occur for a few reasons:

While most transfers are processed quickly, please allow up to 3 business days for your transaction to be completed, especially in the following situations:

  • First-time transaction & identity verification
    If you’re sending money for the first time, we may need to verify your identity for added security. If this is the case, you will receive an email with a secure form to complete.
    • Your bank is doing its due diligence too so it's not releasing the money yet. It's just putting it on hold while they confirm the validity of the transaction. It's important to note that the money isn't with TANGGapp or your recipient. Your bank is doing a temporary hold on it until they clear the receiver.
    • The PH recipient's bank is doing its due diligence as well, making sure that the source of funds is legitimate in compliance with AMLC rules. All of these are happening at the same time so when you complete your first transaction, it takes some time for your bank to release the money.
    • However, the more you use TANGGapp, you will automatically get fast transfer which would make your padala available in minutes.
  • Recipient needs to link their bank account or e-wallet
    If your recipient hasn’t linked their bank account or e-wallet, the transfer will be delayed. The app will notify you of the missing information, and we will also email your recipient with instructions.
  • Issues with our bank partner
    Occasionally, banks may take longer to process deposits. This can be due to network issues, discrepancies in the recipient’s banking details, or delays caused by holidays. If needed, we may request your recipient to link a different bank account to retry the transaction.
  • Transfer initiated during weekends or bank holidays
    Transfers over PHP 50,000 may take longer to process if sent during weekends or holidays. Rest assured, your transfer will be completed once regular banking operations resume.
